Abstract Injection-induced rail pressure fluctuations are proven to cause nonuniform spray development. These also responsible for generating lower injection pressures, the detriment of jet penetration length and break-up timing. Despite vast literature dealing with such issues, several aspects remain unclear. Additionally, need compliance emission legislation has shed light on potential alternative fuels, which represent a pathway sustainable mobility. This scenario motivated present study assessment time history correlated fuel properties.
